I founded Connext Global Solutions in 2014 with a clear goal: to help small and medium-sized businesses scale effectively by providing tailored outsourcing solutions. We began in Hawaii, where service is everything.

We infused the spirit of aloha: warmth, care, and a commitment to excellence into every partnership. What started as a small, specialized remote staffing agency grew into an international team with over 2,600 employees across offices in the Philippines, Mexico, India, and Colombia.

Throughout this journey, we have faced many challenges. As an entrepreneur, I have learned that success is about finding ways to adapt when things change unexpectedly. Our history demonstrates that growth is possible when you stay committed to your value, listen to your clients, and build teams that can evolve with every new challenge.

The Leadership Foundation Behind Connext

My background has shaped how I think about building teams and solving operational problems. Growing up with an engineer father and an educator mother taught me to approach challenges with both structure and patience.

My time in the Army reinforced the importance of communication, accountability, and resource management under pressure. Later, working in a hospital controller’s office at Fort Lewis showed me how staffing, process, and support functions affect the entire healthcare operation.

Those lessons, combined with my experience at Harvard Business School, influenced how we built Connext’s operating model: structured teams, clear management support, reliable infrastructure, and a focus on solving real workforce challenges.

To this day, I come back to three priorities when speaking with our team: take care of our clients, take care of our people, and build a company that can grow sustainably. Those principles have guided Connext since day one.

The Origin of Connext

Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of building a business. That dream took time to become real. Years later, while serving as president of a dental group in Hawaii, I saw a clear need: businesses needed a better way to build reliable teams, manage growth, and access skilled talent without added complexity.

That need became more than an observation. It became the starting point for Connext. The company began with a personal goal to build something meaningful, but it was ultimately shaped by a real business challenge I had seen firsthand.

Even the name reflected that purpose. The Connext name and design came from a global crowdsourcing contest I ran. I chose “Connext” because it captured the idea of connection, while the logo’s blue wordmark and gradient swoosh symbolized movement, innovation, and growth.

Over time, that meaning became even clearer. Connext represents the connection between our clients and the global teams that support them, and that connection remains at the heart of what we do.

The Gap That Shaped the Connext Model

After seeing the need firsthand, I realized many small, mid-sized, and high-growth businesses were caught between two limited options.

They needed skilled support across specific roles like customer service, medical billing, administrative support, and back-office operations. Large BPOs were often built for bigger, more standardized engagements. Freelancers offered flexibility, but brought challenges around reliability, security, performance management, and scalability.

That gap became the foundation of Connext’s co-managed offshore team model: structured like an enterprise solution, but flexible enough to support targeted team needs.

As we grew, the same model proved valuable for larger organizations. Enterprise and shared services teams also need skilled talent, reliable infrastructure, strong management support, and clear visibility as they scale.

That is the Connext story today. We support focused role-based hiring and larger workforce initiatives with the same goal: building reliable teams that operate as a true extension of the client’s business.

Building the Infrastructure for Growth

As Connext grew, our focus remained the same: helping businesses build remote teams with the structure, visibility, and accountability they need to scale.

That meant building more than a recruiting model. It meant developing dedicated business units that understand the specific needs of the industries we serve, including healthcare talent solutions, professional services, and customer and business services.

From our early operations in the Philippines to our expansion into Colombia in 2024 and India in 2025, we continued strengthening our infrastructure, talent network, and leadership support. In 2026, we expanded further in the Philippines with Cebu as our fifth local site, giving clients more options to build and manage high performing co-managed offshore teams

Strengthening the Operations Behind Patient Care

Healthcare has become one of Connext’s strongest business units because the work behind patient care matters. Scheduling, care coordination, insurance verification, billing, claims follow-up, medical records, prior authorizations, and revenue cycle management all play a direct role in how efficiently a healthcare organization runs.

Many healthcare teams are already stretched. Administrative work continues to grow, staffing remains difficult, and patient expectations are higher. When documentation, billing, or follow-up slows down, it can affect patient experience, team productivity, and financial performance.

Connext helps healthcare organizations build dedicated offshore teams for these essential functions. These include bilingual patient services, contact center support, medical records management, virtual scribing, administrative support, accounting, and clinical support roles.

The goal is simple: give healthcare teams reliable operational capacity so they can reduce administrative strain, improve accuracy, strengthen the patient experience, and stay focused on delivering care.

How Connext Helps Businesses Scale with Confidence

When running a business, progress comes from taking quick, informed action when clients, teams, or market conditions change. That is the mindset we have maintained from the beginning, and it is one reason we have been able to help clients scale, adapt, and keep operations moving.

That same mindset shaped how we built Connext. We support clients with custom recruiting to help them find the right talent faster, using targeted screening and interview processes. Once the team is in place, we simplify the operational side through employer of record services, including payroll, benefits, and local compliance.

We also provide co-management support through our country-specific managers, helping streamline HR, operations, communication, and day-to-day team performance. For companies working with global independent contractors, we can help transition those workers into full-time employees with more structure and stability.

Beyond people and management, we provide infrastructure that teams need to perform well. This includes secure facilities, compliant office spaces, IT security, equipment, and operational support that help clients build offshore teams with confidence.

Our service model was built around one simple belief: businesses should be able to scale with both flexibility and control. We give clients access to exceptional talent, comprehensive support, and transparent pricing while they retain control over their teams, and Connext supports the infrastructure around them.

Client Success Stories

The strongest measure of Connext’s growth is the impact we help create for our clients. Across industries, our goal has remained consistent: build reliable teams, support better operations, and make scaling feel more manageable for the leaders we serve.

A Stronger Future for Offshore Staffing

Looking ahead, the need that led me to start Connext is stronger than ever. Businesses need dependable teams that help them grow while protecting quality, control, and culture.

Offshore staffing has moved beyond cost savings. When managed well, it gives companies the capacity to serve customers better, support complex work, and stay resilient through change.

Through technological shifts, market changes, and every challenge we have encountered, our focus has remained clear. We will continue helping clients scale with confidence while creating strong opportunities for the people who make that growth possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Connext Global Solutions?

Connext Global Solutions is a co-sourcing and offshore staffing partner that helps businesses build and manage dedicated global teams. Founded in 2014, Connext supports companies with tailored staffing solutions across customer service, technical support, healthcare administration, back-office operations, and other business functions.

Is Connext a remote staffing agency?

Yes. Connext operates as a remote staffing agency that helps businesses build dedicated offshore teams while maintaining visibility, structure, and control. Through its co-sourcing model, Connext helps companies access skilled global talent without managing recruiting, HR, payroll, facilities, IT, and local operations alone.

What makes Connext different from traditional outsourcing companies?

Connext uses a co-sourcing model, which means offshore team members are built around the client’s workflows, systems, standards, and business goals. Instead of operating as a separate outsourced vendor, Connext teams become integrated extensions of the client’s operations.

How is Connext different from other remote staffing companies?

Unlike remote staffing companies that only help place talent, Connext provides broader remote workforce solutions. This includes recruiting, onboarding, training support, co-management, operational infrastructure, HR, payroll, IT, and compliance support so clients can scale with structure.

How does co-sourcing help businesses maintain control?

Co-sourcing allows businesses to scale their teams while staying involved in how work is performed. Clients maintain visibility over quality, processes, training, communication, and performance standards, while Connext supports recruiting, staffing, management, and operational infrastructure.

Is Connext a remote recruitment agency?

Connext can support remote recruitment needs, but its model goes beyond a traditional remote recruitment agency. Instead of simply sourcing candidates, Connext helps clients build, manage, and scale dedicated offshore teams that are aligned with their operations and long-term business goals.

What types of roles can Connext help companies build?

Connext helps companies build offshore teams for customer service, technical support, healthcare administration, insurance verification, patient billing, back-office operations, and other specialized support roles.

How did Connext help businesses during the pandemic?

During the pandemic, many businesses needed to adapt quickly to remote work and changing operational demands. Connext helped clients build scalable offshore teams that could integrate into existing systems, support remote operations, and maintain service quality during disruption.

Why are offshore teams valuable for healthcare organizations?

Healthcare organizations often face high administrative workloads, staffing shortages, and complex billing or insurance processes. Offshore healthcare support teams can help manage non-clinical tasks such as insurance verification, claims support, patient billing, and administrative coordination while improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Does Connext provide healthcare BPO services?

Yes. Connext provides healthcare BPO services for non-clinical support functions, including patient billing, insurance verification, claims support, administrative coordination, and other healthcare back-office roles. These teams help healthcare organizations improve capacity while keeping workflows structured and visible.

Can offshore staffing reduce costs without sacrificing quality?

Yes. When structured properly, offshore staffing can help businesses reduce labor costs while maintaining quality. Connext focuses on hiring skilled professionals, providing training, and aligning teams with client workflows so companies can scale efficiently without losing operational control.

What industries does Connext support?

Connext supports businesses across multiple industries, including healthcare, transportation, construction, customer service, technical support, and professional services. Its model is designed to adapt to each client’s specific operational needs.

Why is training important in Connext’s staffing model?

Training ensures that offshore team members understand the client’s systems, processes, service expectations, and business context. Connext focuses on preparing teams to handle real operational scenarios, from patient billing complexity to customer support interactions.

How can a business get started with Connext?

Businesses can start by identifying the roles, workflows, or operational challenges they need support with. From there, Connext Global Solutions can help design a staffing solution, recruit the right talent, and build a dedicated offshore team aligned with the company’s needs.
