Job Description:
• Create and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
• Work closely with the development team to perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Implement best practices for data management within Power BI.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and comprehend their data needs.
• Translate business requirements into data solutions and recommend improvements.
• Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices.
• Apply new knowledge to enhance existing dashboards and reports.
• Train end-users on effective utilization of Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Provide ongoing support and address user queries related to Power BI.
• Document data models, processes, and methodologies for future reference.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation to support data governance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in creating insightful reports, engaging visualizations, and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Understanding of best practices for designing visually appealing and user-friendly data representations.
• Demonstrated track record as a Power BI Analyst or in a similar role, showcasing successful development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, with the ability to create efficient and effective data models within Power BI.
• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present complex data.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and take ownership of projects.
• Collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest developments in Power BI features, data visualization techniques, and industry best practices.
• Ability to address user queries and troubleshoot issues related to Power BI dashboards.
Screening Criteria:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI
• Must have a stable employment history.
