Responsibilities
• Ensuring data accuracy in the system
• Serve as the business lead and subject matter expert in business processes for Oracle NetSuite and related systems and procedures.
• Provide project leadership, configuration management, testing, and support for financial subsystems.
• Perform lead responsibilities for ongoing maintenance, annual project improvements, and maintenance of financial subsystems.
• Gather data and analyze business and user needs to implement functional requirements, including dashboard creation, custom reports, and workflow automation.
• Provide end user security management and configuration management for financial systems.
• Manage integrations between internal and external systems using EDI, Web Services, and 3rd party tools.
• Develop plans and lead testing and implementation of system upgrades, configuration changes, workflow changes, and other system modifications.
• Work with Information Technology staff and system vendors to identify and implement upgrades.
• Assure modifications and upgrades are successfully tested before implementation to the live environment.
• Report systems issues to system vendors and work with vendors to resolve the issues.
• Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, and conduct user training from go-live and beyond.
• Utilize standard reporting tools to write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries.
• Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
• Develop standard reports for ongoing business needs and ad hoc queries as needed, working with staff to identify information requirements.
• Develop and document workflow processes to create efficiency in the operation of Financial Systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Must have Netsuite Certified Administrator certification and Netsuite Financial user certification.
• Knowledgeable with integrating accounting software with Netsuite such as Salesforce and Floqast.
• Ability to script write in Netsuite.
• Strong background in finance, general system administration, and financial system requirements.
• Prior experience implementing and maintaining SOX compliance of finance systems applications (e.g., NetSuite, Payroll systems), and providing full support to internal controls team and external auditors.
• Clear and coherent in both verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with a sense of urgency, and the ability to work with individuals of varying backgrounds and technical expertise.
• Ability to understand the user journey and provide effective solutions and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
