Responsibilities
• Collect and analyze compensation and benefits data from various sources (e.g., surveys, reports, industry publications) to assess current market trends.
• Assist in benchmarking compensation and benefits packages against industry standards and competitors.
• Support the Compensation and Benefits Specialist by compiling data and creating reports to assist in decision-making related to employee compensation, benefits, and general HR policies.
• Work closely with team members to support broader People and Culture initiatives and research efforts.
• Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to understand business needs and adjust research focus as necessary.
• Stay up to date with industry trends in HR and compensation practices.
• Participate in learning and development opportunities to expand knowledge in the field of Total Rewards and HR analytics.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Strong enthusiasm for learning about HR data, analytics, and market trends, with an eagerness to grow within the field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and comfortable with data analysis tools.
• Meticulous in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data and apply insights to real-world situations.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive approach to tasks.
• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to present data clearly to different audiences.
• Willingness to quickly learn new tools, concepts, and processes, particularly in the areas of compensation and benefits.
