Director of People and Culture

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to support the company’s objectives and cultivate a positive work culture.
  • Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and organizational development.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and goals.
  • Design and implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth.
  • Develop and maintain a positive work culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Lead change management initiatives and support employees through organizational transitions.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a fair and inclusive workplace for all employees.
  • Implement programs to measure and improve employee well-being, including health and wellness initiatives, work-life balance programs, and mental health support.
  • Manage employer branding efforts to attract and retain top talent and enhance the company’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Lead succession planning efforts to identify and develop talent within the organization for future leadership roles.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, culture development, and employee engagement to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
  • Experience in talent management, organizational development, or related areas that contribute to the strategic growth and success of the organization.

Screening Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in human resources management, with a focus on HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years in a leadership or managerial role within a similar industry or environment.
  • Must have a stable employment history
