Recruiters are responsible in communicating with hiring managers to identify future job openings and the technical requirements for those jobs. They are also tasked to write job descriptions and source potential candidates on emails and niche platforms and other sourcing techniques.
They also screen applicants for competency with the job requirements and schedule telephone, video, or in-person interviews. They present the resumes of the most suitable candidates to the hiring manager.
They maintain a database of applicants’ status and resumes and conduct a forecast of recruitment budgets.
