Responsibilities
- Read and interpret AV systems drawings to understand project requirements.
- Gather programming requirements and design new control modules, control code, and user interfaces based on industry standards.
- Customize software configurations to meet specific client needs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of control code and integrated AV systems.
- Evaluate system performance and conduct troubleshooting as necessary to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Create comprehensive end-user and programming-related documentation for installed AV systems.
- Service, maintain, and update programming code in installed systems to ensure ongoing functionality and compliance with client requirements.
- Manage control code in version control repository, documenting changes and updates for transparency and future reference.
- Utilize DevOps platforms to manage projects, track issues, deploy releases, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Turn in daily activity sheets to report progress and maintain project documentation.
- Adhere to all aspects of the Employee Handbook, Installation Handbook, and other directives to ensure compliance and uphold professional standards.
Screening Criteria
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience installing audio-visual, lighting, control systems and related systems.
- Current CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association)/AVIXA (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association)/CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or equivalent industry certifications.
- Must have a stable employment history.
