Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Communicate with management, developers, product managers, and technical support specialists on product issues to ensure alignment and resolution.
- Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to stakeholders.
- Maintain process documentation and ensure adherence to core Agile principles.
- Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
- Assist as needed with backlog maintenance.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs.
- Proactively participate in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress, preventing distractions and promoting productivity.
- Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution within the team, empowering them to self-organize and collaborate effectively.
Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master
- Experience using SmartSheet
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Experience using ServiceDesk or similar ticketing system
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
- At least two (2) years of Scrum Master experience.
- Must have stable employment history.
