Responsibilities
- Lead the review and reconciliation of financial records for new clients.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies and implement corrective measures to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders during transitions to new accounting software systems.
- Assist in data migration, configuration, and testing to ensure a smooth implementation process.
- Evaluate existing accounting processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and optimize resource utilization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to team members encountering complex accounting issues.
- Offer solutions, troubleshoot problems, and provide training or mentorship as needed.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning efforts.
- Provide assistance in other areas as required by the team or management.
- Provide training and other support to colleagues to enhance their accounting knowledge and skills.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
- Minimum of four (4) years of accounting experience doing general accounting such as producing financial statements, and account reconciliations.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA eligible.
- Must have a stable employment history.
