Job Summary
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting and optimizing our Salesforce platform. This role will focus on troubleshooting user issues, making configuration changes, and developing and managing workflow processes to enhance system functionality and support business operations.
Job Description
• Perform routine Salesforce administration tasks, including managing user accounts, roles, and permissions.
• Configure page layouts, record types, fields, and custom objects to align with evolving business needs.
• Implement and adjust validation rules, workflows, and automation processes as required.
• Act as the first point of contact for Salesforce-related issues, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution for end-users.
• Identify and resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and user challenges.
• Collaborate with team members to understand their needs and provide guidance on optimal Salesforce usage.
• Develop and maintain workflow processes, including automation rules, flows, and approval processes to streamline operations and enhance data quality.
• Create efficient, user-friendly processes that reduce manual efforts and improve system usability.
• Test and refine workflows to ensure smooth functionality and reliability.
• With SFDC moving to Salesforce Flow for process automation, specific knowledge and experience with Flow is a critical component of this position.
• Knowledge and experience with the configure, price, quote (CPQ) module with Salesforce is also a critical need.
• Ensure data accuracy by maintaining and updating records, conducting periodic data audits, and implementing data-cleaning practices.
• Develop and enforce data entry standards to ensure high-quality, reliable data within the system.
• Work closely with teams across the organization to gather feedback, understand requirements, and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Document and communicate any changes to configurations, workflows, or processes, providing user training as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, including managing custom fields, layouts, workflows, and automations.
• Basic understanding of Salesforce reports and dashboards for user data insights.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues, demonstrating a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Resourceful and proactive in identifying solutions and enhancements to Salesforce functionality.
• Skilled in creating and optimizing workflow processes to drive efficiency and data accuracy.
• Clear and coherent in both verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with users and team members.
• Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and provide clear, helpful user support.
Screening Criteria
• Minimum of three (3) years in a Salesforce Administrator role or related position with hands-on configuration experience.
• Must have a stable employment history
Desired Qualifications
• Familiarity with Salesforce best practices for data management, automation, and user support.
• Salesforce Certification is desirable but not required.
