Responsibilities
- Develop, and implement comprehensive privacy by design across the organization and improve the incorporation of privacy and security practices in business processes.
- Develop and maintain a suitable governance structure for privacy and security.
- Perform data privacy and security assessments.
- Assist teams in automating their privacy & security capabilities. Configure, integrate, test, and deploy privacy & security tools and technologies.
- Assist in the assessment of suspected privacy and security events and breaches.
- Internal audits to monitor internal compliance with privacy and security rules and standards.
- Assist external or internal auditors with compliance audits.
- Work as a data privacy and security point of contact for the regional teams.
- Manage team for day-to-day activities.
- Periodic reporting on data privacy and security.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as ISO27K, CISSP, CISM, CISA or CIPP is a plus.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, electronics and communications, or a related field.
- At least ten (10) years of progressive experience in Data Privacy, Security and Compliance management.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Must have a stable employment history.
