Responsibilities
- Confirm that loans from prior days are closed and ensure all documents are accurately filed.
- Maintain clear and detailed notes regarding loan status, actions taken, and next steps required.
- Assess and prioritize loan applications based on urgency to facilitate timely processing.
- Record and register loans with local county websites in compliance with legal requirements.
- Communicate with government officials, borrowers, and loan officers to address inquiries and facilitate the loan process.
- Follow up on outstanding documents and resolve questions within the timeline set by clients.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies throughout the loan processing lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Expertise in MS Office, Gladly, and G-Suite applications to support daily tasks and documentation.
- Clear and coherent in both verbal and written communication skills to interact with government officials, colleagues, customers, and auditors.
- Capable of assessing and evaluating loan data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Effective follow-up methods and prioritization skills to manage multiple loan applications efficiently.
- Comfortable working under time constraints while effectively managing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly, even with limited information, to address order changes and customer concerns.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work cohesively with various teams and external resources.
- Meticulous attention to detail, recognizing that errors can have significant consequences in loan applications.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges effectively.
- Capable of working independently when necessary, while also collaborating effectively within a team to achieve common goals.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- At least one (1) year of experience in loan processing or a related role.
- Must have a stable employment history.
