Responsibilities
- Analyze electrical plans and specifications to determine required control system design.
- Create load schedules by count, type, and required control devices.
- Generate lighting control device layouts and one-line riser diagrams.
- Review project quotations, purchase orders, and sales orders to identify and resolve any discrepancies in system before implementation/installation.
- Review submittal and installation documents to ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
- Proactively review project changes and update documentation accordingly.
- Coordinate custom product requirements with sales, operations, installation, and service team.
- Manage multiple projects to meet project deadlines.
- Attend project design meetings and conference calls with sales and operations team.
- Respond quickly and professionally to requests from internal team members.
- Support sales team by preparing and revising proposals for lighting automation, shades, lighting fixtures, and other related systems being proposed.
- Prepare accurate technical specifications, drawings, and other documentation related to systems proposed.
- Support operations team as they work to ensure complete and timely project communication with builders, homeowners, and the company.
- Ensure that all necessary parts, equipment, and supplies for lighting and shade installations are accurately ordered.
- Coordinate with operations to efficiently deliver shade and lighting orders to the project site.
- Assist assigned installation team with necessary installation instructions.
- Assist with proper documentation of any in-process and close-out changes, additions, or deletions to the lighting and shading projects.
Qualifications
- D-Tools Experience Preferred.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the lighting design, automation, or electrical systems industry.
- Must have a stable employment history.
