Identity and Access Management Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Execute IAM solution implementations and upgrades, including configuring and deploying IAM tools and systems.
  • Manage and maintain IAM systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and securely.
  • Provide ongoing support for IAM systems, including troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems.
  • Integrate IAM solutions with other IT systems, including Active Directory, HR systems (e.g., ADP), and network security tools.
  • Ensure IAM practices comply with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for users and HR staff on IAM processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align IAM practices with business needs and facilitate necessary changes.
  • Respond to and manage IAM-related security incidents, including access breaches or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventative measures to enhance security.

Qualifications

  • Experience in deploying IAM solutions in small to medium-sized organizations, handling 250-500 roles.
  • Proficiency with IAM tools and systems (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD).
  • Experience with ADP integration and understanding of network security practices.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements such as HIPAA/HITRUST.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles and best practices, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
  • Expertise in integrating IAM solutions with Active Directory and other systems.
  • Ability to analyze and document business processes and the impact of IAM solutions.
  • Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills with ability to guide training and knowledge transfer.

Screening Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in IAM implementations
  • At least two (2) years of experience for different IAM solutions.
  • Must have a stable employment history.
