Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various sources, including databases and canned system reports.
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all reporting platforms.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to support operational decisions.
- Monitor performance of reports and queries and optimize for efficiency.
- Design and create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI and SSRS to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably working with practice management and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Experience with Power BI and SSRS for report building and data visualization.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis, including joins, subqueries, and aggregate functions
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data, practice management systems, and electronic medical records. .
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and balancing workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently, with minimal oversight and as part of a team.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business analytics, or a relate field.
- At least one (1) to four (4) years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Must have a stable employment history.
