Admissions Advisor

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students.
  • Utilize an auto dialer (www.kixie.com) to make roughly 250-300 outbound calls/day to build relationships with prospective enrollees.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing them with accurate information about programs, admissions requirements, and deadlines.
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations with candidates to understand their academic goals, interests, and aspirations.
  • Guide candidates through the entire admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, including application preparation and submission.
  • Assist candidates in gathering required documents, such as transcripts, recommendation letters, and test scores.
  • Provide guidance on scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and application progress.
  • Ensure that candidates meet all application deadlines and requirements.
  • Collaborate with admissions officers at partner institutions to facilitate the review and decision-making process.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to keep candidates informed about important updates, deadlines, and events.
  • Conduct outreach campaigns to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Compile and analyze data related to candidate demographics, application trends, and outcomes.
  • Generate reports to assess the effectiveness of admissions strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle challenging conversations with confidence.
  • Strong understanding of the Sales Cycle as a foundational skill for the role.
  • Experience using any auto-dialer software is advantageous.

Screening Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in auto dialing and/or outbound calls.
  • Must have a stable employment history.
