Responsibilities
• Assist in the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Process bi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and review accounting records, financial statements, tax filings, and other financial reports.
• Develop and analyze financial reports to support business operations and budgeting decisions.
• Conduct process reviews to ensure adherence to established accounting standards and procedures.
• Identify and implement new processes to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
• Present financial analysis and findings to the management team for decision-making and strategic planning.
• Assist with allocations and perform monthly reconciliations of financial data.
o Scrutinize financial records for errors, such as miscoding, missing entries, and duplicate expenses, ensuring clean and accurate accounts.
o Complete journal entries and general ledger adjustments based on review findings and regular financial activities.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card transactions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous experience using NetSuite.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with US GAAP.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger management.
• Intermediate to advanced user of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Organized and meticulous in reviewing financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with team members and senior leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse teams and client base.
• Demonstrated interest in finance, accounting, and business strategy.
