Responsibilities
- Co-manage comprehensive accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.
- Lead, motivate, and manage remote work-from-home accounting teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Hire, onboard, and develop accounting professionals, building a strong and capable team.
- Confidently interact with all levels of the accounting organization, including CFOs, Controllers, Auditors, Senior Accountants, Accounts Payable and Receivable Analysts, and Financial Planning and Analysis teams.
- Study client business processes to enhance the value of services offered by the company.
- Determine operational strategies through needs assessments, performance reviews, and cost/benefit analyses, identifying and evaluating state-of-the-art technologies.
- Develop and foster a culture of continuous performance improvement.
- Schedule and assign work to service delivery staff to optimize team efforts and ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Conduct and participate in meetings to understand team requirements and evaluate work done by team members, providing effective guidance, coaching, and disciplinary actions when needed.
- Reinforce and ensure the organization’s compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and complete action plans, system audits, and analyses, managing quality assurance initiatives.
- Meet financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in BPO operations management, attending educational workshops, and participating in professional societies.
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Mentor team members, team leaders, and other Associate/Operations Managers.
- Take on other assignments as needed, including acting as the primary operational backup to the General Manager.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of total work experience, with a solid background in US public companies.
