Accounting Associate 1

The Accounting Associate 1 will be responsible for managing and recording accounts receivables data, reconciling sales channels, preparing reconciliation schedules, generating invoices, and contributing to system enhancement projects within the accounts receivable department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day verification, classification, posting, and recording of accounts receivables’ data related to store sales.
  • Conduct reconciliation for Aggregators’ sales channels to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare accounts reconciliation schedules and proactively follow up on discrepancies.
  • Generate invoices for catering sales or rebilling, and actively manage invoicing matters.
  • Undertake various assigned tasks and duties supporting the accounts receivable department.
  • Participate in system enhancement projects when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Awareness of relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements ensuring that the accounting practices align with legal standards.
  • Has a keen eye for detail. This quality is crucial in verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivables data accurately.
  • Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize Microsoft Office proficiently.
  • Precision and accuracy in handling financial data, preparing reports, and conducting reconciliations are essential to avoid errors.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of financial information is fundamental.
  • Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, other departments, and external partners is common in accounting.

Screening Criteria

  • MUST HAVE STABLE EMPLOYMENT HISTORY.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of hands-on experience in accounts function.
