Responsibilities
- Accurately categorize and record all financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
- Ensure all income and expenses are classified according to company policies and customer requirements.
- Regularly review and update transaction categories to maintain accurate financial records.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into spending and income patterns.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline categorization processes and ensure consistency.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of all company bank accounts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and QuickBooks records.
- Ensure all transactions are properly documented and classified in the chart of accounts on QuickBooks Online.
- Assist in developing and implementing reconciliation procedures to improve efficiency.
- Track and manage equity contributions from shareholders or partners.
- Record and reconcile equity distributions in QuickBooks Online.
- Manage and record all debt-related transactions, including loan repayments and interest expenses; be able to understand the journal entry necessary.
- Calculate and record interest expenses accurately in QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Awareness of US income tax for businesses.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At two (2) to five (5) years of experience in bookkeeping for multiple clients.
- Must have a stable employment history.
