Responsibilities
- Calls nursing agencies to follow up on nursing invoices.
- Coordinates and communicates with healthcare providers
- Completes all follow up telephone calls to maintain accurate records, including submittal/return dates and approval periods.
- Maintains departmental records, reports, and files as required.
- Do nursing billing.
- Reviewing nursing visits.
- Ensures that entries have their appropriate medical record account.
- Maintain departmental records, reports, and files as required.
- Assists in other areas as required.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (BS Nursing required).
- With at least a year of hospital setting experience.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records and/or medical practice management systems is a plus.
- Call center experience is a plus.
- Being highly trainable and a fast learner is a must.
- Adept at performing fundamental computer actions and proficient in navigating basic applications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem solving skills and decision making abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Clerical experience with a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm, 10 key touch, and basic math skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
- Can work flexible hrs/graveyard shift.
Screening Criteria
- MUST HAVE STABLE EMPLOYMENT HISTORY.
- Degree in Nursing.
- At least a year of working as an RN with direct hospital setting expertise.
