The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated workflows to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and ensure consistent service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and refine our overall automation strategy, establishing processes for sourcing, vetting, and prioritizing new automations and consistently communicating on program status and value delivered.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify repetitive manual processes, gather requirements for new automations, and ensure sufficient process documentation prior to beginning automation work.
- Design and build automated workflows using our automation platform Rewst. Promote reusability and consistency by building a library of DRY functions that can be used across multiple workflows.
- Conduct thorough testing of new automated workflows to identify and resolve any bugs, errors, or performance issues. Ensure the reliability and stability of automated processes.
- Continuously monitor automated workflows to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. Perform regular maintenance and updates to keep automations up-to-date and optimized.
- Ensure that automations meet quality standards and comply with security and data privacy regulations.
- Provide training and support to team members and users who interact with workflows, forms, etc.
- Keep up to date with the latest automation technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance your skills and bring innovation to our automation process.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable with the MSP market, including processes and tools (e.g., PSA, RMM, documentation).
- Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of automation principles.
- Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for automation and creatively solve complex technical challenges.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new automation technologies, tools, and best practices.
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.
- Demonstrated commitment to reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain automated processes effectively.
Screening Criteria
- MUST HAVE STABLE EMPLOYMENT HISTORY.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- At least two (2) years of experience working in IT, System Administration, or related roles.
