Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play as a key contributor to the organization’s vision of enhancing government support services, you’ll be responsible for attracting, identifying, and recruiting roles crucial to Government Contracts. Collaborate closely with HR and the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure successful fulfillment of positions. This role also demands an outgoing and driven professional, adept at developing improved healthcare and managerial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Source resumes and pre-screen candidates, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing qualifications with hiring managers.
  • Thoroughly vet candidates via interviews to ensure their interests and credentials align with our organization’s needs
  • Develop creative strategies for sourcing candidates for hard-to-fil positions.
  • Utilize various methods, including complex Internet searches and networking groups.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with government regulations and organizational policies.
  • Follow pre-screening and post-employment processes meticulously.
  • Work closely with management to meet Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) requirements.
  • Identify and address future recruitment needs proactively.
  • Track key metrics such as sourced candidates and interview volume.
  • Manage a candidate pipeline efficiently.
  • Proactively research and explore new methods to identify potential candidates.
  • Utilize internet searches, social networks, and maintain and develop candidate relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to efficiently manage candidate profiles, track progress, and optimize the overall hiring process.
  • Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Possesses foundational computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook to create, edit, and share documents, collaborate with team members, and maintain organized records.
  • Exhibits a strong ability to multitask with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in various responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations is essential to ensure compliance in recruitment practices and avoid legal issues.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure that tasks are prioritized appropriately, deadlines are met, and the hiring process stays on track.

Screening Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Healthcare Recruiting experience.
  • Must have a stable employment history.
